Who's Still Standing? Shamrock or Couture

By the looks of things lately… BOTH. When compiling the line-up of fights for MMACLASSICS.COM dvd Who's Still Standing?, and looking back to the mid-1990's - one might not imagine that MMA Legends Frank Shamrock and Randy 'The Natural' Couture would still be at the forefront of this exploding sport. It just goes to show that a true classic holds up over time and can be personified by both Shamrock and Couture as recent as today.
Look for Shamrock tonight as he faces NYBA Phil Baroni in one of the most anticipated fights of the year in EliteXC / Strikeforce 5 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA. This fight can be seen on SHOWTIME PPV. For more info go to: www.frankshamrock.org
This past week also saw Randy Couture wrap principal photography on David Mamet / Sony Pictures' feature film Redbelt then hosting a special screening of 'FIGHTER, a documentary' for members of the cast and crew along with L.A. area fans at the famed Hollywood hangout Safari Sams.
Ironically, you can see both Shamrock and Couture fight the same opponent in Who's Still Standing?… Enson Inoue. And some who say there are no coincidences… R1IZ1? - Inoue also just finished filming his scenes in Redbelt and returned home to Japan this past week.
